My son uses this straightener and it works very well. It doesn't burn him or the counter. It also doesn't split the ends of his hair. We had a much less expensive one before this one and I think it was well worth the money.

This thing heats up in about 10 seconds and straightens my hair unlike any other straightener I have owned....and i have the most unruly hair. I was concerned about forking out so much as I was disappointed in the past with other products, but the was well worth it!

Honestly, to say that I love this flat iron would be an UNDERSTATEMENT! I am a female who LOVES hair and I love doing hair (not professionally but a lot of my family members) and I would recommend this flat iron to ALL women who love flat irons. I have used a CHI before and it is amazing, but the GHD is ALSO a wonderful product! I've also used hot tools (which works fantastic for me) and Conair (it's good but it pulls) and the GHD by far is the best....I can create curls that make it easier to maintain and they don't fall out until I wash them out...I am a true GHD believer and I hope that if given the chance a women takes it and buys her very own, it is WORTH the price!
